Men

Our men’s ministry is all about mentoring and discipleship for men of all ages.  We desire to give men opportunities to show love to their families, to hold each other accountable, and to serve the body in many ways.  All ages are welcome to come and be the men God calls us to be!

Women

Women’s ministry offers Bible studies, conferences and a variety of fellowship opportunities to help women grow to love Jesus more completely.  All ages are welcome so come have fun, be uplifted, find comfort and leave encouraged. Here are a few of the Women’s Small Groups:

  • Nimble Thimbles: 1st and 3rd Wednesday’s, 1:30pm. For those interested in quilting or learning how to quilt.
  • Flicker Chicks: About once a quarter on a Friday evening at 6:30pm. For those interested in movies and fellowship. Bring a snack and a friend.
  • Ronald McDonald House: 3rd Sunday. Ladies from the church prepare and take a meal to the Ronald McDonald House. Contact Connie Parrott if you’d like to help.

Recycled Teens

The Recycled Teens are a group of retired folks that love to keep on keepin’ on.  Our main purpose for existing is “to witness and fellowship.”  We always have a great time and forget all our aches and pains, and diets for a while.  Come join us each month, as well as several other times throughout the year for community and encouragement.

Grief and Loss

People experiencing grief and loss need someone to walk with them without judging them. We all grieve in different ways and at a different pace. It is understood that we do not “get over” tremendous loss, but we can live full lives when given the opportunity to experience and work through the emotions that accompany grief and loss. The Grief and Loss Coach will offer ongoing individual or small group sessions to minister to those who have experienced loss due to death of a loved one or situational grief and loss (i.e. child custody, divorce, job loss, life transitions, illness, empty nest, etc.) Contact Terri Gray, who provides Grief and Loss Coaching under the direction and oversight of the Elders and Lead Minister at GPCC.
